Nutrition, food tests, dairy free, gluten free, cycling, skiing, recycling, standing desk, elliptical laptop holder, eating healthily while traveling, water, water, water… I’ve been hyper focused on nutrition and fitness lately in a way that I never was before.
My metabolism has been offering enough wake up calls for a couple of years, but I’m good at bumping the snooze bar. And denying the reality that my weight, energy, allergies, aches, sleep patterns are unhealthy. But there’s nothing like a big birthday to sound the alarm!

On transformative midlife hack I’m happy to share with you is an app that runs on my iPhone and iPad plus any web access computer anywhere in the world. It’s called MyFitnessPal. The little app that could! The MyFitnessPal app is an ultra simple, user-friendly calorie/fitness tracker that demystifies a healthier lifestyle. That’s not a plug. It’s the truth!
I’d like to think I could have cleaned up my exercise/nutrition act over the last year by myself (could I?), but MyFitnessPal’s ever-present reminders and simple tools were remarkably effective. I’m surprised. And I’m grateful. An app I’ll continue to use. An app I’ll continue to recommend.
